By accessing or using FitJourney Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App, whether via the web application at fitjourneyai-22d81.web.app or through our mobile applications available on the Google Play Store.

📝 Description of Service

FitJourney Pro is an AI-powered fitness and nutrition tracking application that provides:

• AI Meal Scanning: Photo-based food recognition and calorie/macro analysis using Google Gemini AI
• Personalized Meal Plans: AI-generated 7-day meal plans tailored to your dietary preferences and goals
• Workout Planning: Custom workout routines based on your fitness level and target areas
• Progress Tracking: Calorie, macro, weight, and activity tracking with visual insights
• Daily Check-ins: Morning wellness assessments with recovery score calculations

👤 User Accounts

Registration

You may use the App as a guest or create an account using email authentication via Firebase. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service.

💰 Subscriptions & Payments

Free Plan

The free plan includes limited features such as 2 AI meal scans per day, basic meal tracking, workout library access, and daily check-ins. Free plan users may see advertisements.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan ($4.99/month) provides unlimited AI meal scans, AI workout generation, the full meal plan generator, an ad-free experience, and priority support.

Payments

• Web subscriptions are processed through Stripe
• Mobile subscriptions are handled through the respective app store (Google Play)
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled according to the payment processor's refund policy

⚖️ Acceptable Use

When using FitJourney Pro, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the service
• Use automated bots or scripts to access the service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

🤖 AI-Generated Content

FitJourney Pro uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini AI) to generate meal plans, nutrition analysis, and workout recommendations. Please note:

• Not Medical Advice: AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, nutritional, or fitness advice from a licensed professional
• Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated calorie counts, macro breakdowns, and meal recommendations may contain errors
• Consult Professionals: Always consult with qualified healthcare providers, dietitians, or fitness professionals before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine
• Allergies & Medical Conditions: While the AI considers your specified allergies and medical conditions, you are ultimately responsible for verifying that food recommendations are safe for you

📱 Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and branding, is owned by FitJourney Pro and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any personal data you provide (meal logs, profile information, etc.), but grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FITJOURNEY PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR HEALTH CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.
